When consulting with your community, it is essential to provide all necessary information to help them engage with the project or decision you are making. The EngagementHQ widgets help ensure that your community is well-informed enough to make meaningful contributions to the tools you choose for your project.
We provide 14 widgets for your project, each with a specific purpose. You can add widgets to the right-hand content area of your project to provide supplemental information such as documents, links, images, dates, or videos. Additionally, you can use various widgets in your homepage sections to provide information about your site.
The video below shows a project page with the following widgets (in order): Who's Listening, Quick Poll, Custom, News Categories, Important Links, and Lifecycle.
The widgets are:
Important Links: Link to internal or external webpages to present useful resources about your project, such as the website for external organizations. This widget is also available for your homepage.
Who’s Listening: Display staff profiles to humanize your consultation, introduce panel members, or provide contact information for your organization. This widget is also available for your homepage.
Signup Banner: Display a banner to encourage users to register and participate. This widget is also available for your homepage as the Register Banner section.
Follow Project: Encourage site visitors to provide their email for project updates via the newsletter mailing list. Please note, this differs from the Signup Banner as it does not allow for complete registration.
News Categories: Use in conjunction with the Newsfeed tool to display categories that participants can select to filter your news articles.
Related Projects: Display automated or manual lists of related projects to drive engagement, such as other newly published projects.
Quick Polls: The Quick Poll is a tool that you can display as a widget instead, to promote quick engagement with multi-choice questions.
Each widget is added individually and have their own configuration options. To get started, check out:
