This platform includes a wealth of features to help you with online engagement. However, you can use embeds from third-party applications to further customize and enhance your consultations.
Embeds allow you to pull external web content and display it on projects, so users stay on your site while they view it.
Please note that you can embed many applications, but we cannot guarantee that any third-party applications will work as expected. Additionally, you must maintain these embeds if the third-party application changes.
To embed content:
Retrieve and copy the embed code from the third-party application. You’ll often find the code via a Share, Embed, or </> button.
Go to your project or page in Sentiment & Feedback and select < > in the text editor to see Code View.
Paste the embed code into your content and select < > again to see your embedded content.
Remember to Save changes. Directly clicking Save without exiting the code view first will not save changes.
Third-Party Examples
We’ve seen several third-party embed codes on engagement sites, including videos, photo galleries, social media, document libraries, maps, and other platforms.
This is not a complete list; you may use third-party platforms we haven’t seen before. If you’re using something you’d like to share or need help with, please contact support.
Videos: While this platform has its own video gallery, if you’re hosting videos externally, you can easily embed videos using platforms such as YouTube or Vimeo. You can embed them using an embed code or by copying the link and inserting it into a text editor via the video icon.
Photo galleries: While this platform has its own photo gallery, if you want more interactivity or albums, you can use:
Slideshare: Embed presentations, infographics, or documents in interactive slides.
Flickr: A helpful platform for embedding photo albums.
Juxtapose: A platform for embedding photo comparisons.
Document libraries: You can use the document library widget, but you can also use external document libraries such as ISSUU. This is helpful if they have specific interactive features you want to embed.
Maps: The Places tool facilitates location-based engagement. You may want to present location information using third-party mapping services, such as:
Mapbox: A paid service that allows you to customize and design maps.
Intramaps: A paid service used throughout the ANZ region to manage location data.
Google Maps: A robust and free platform for embedding maps.
ESRI: A powerful GIS software for visualizing and analyzing location data.
Other: We’ve seen a few other embeds that provide supplemental content for your online engagements. You can use third-party platforms, such as:
Riddle: Create fun, interactive online quizzes to increase engagement.
