This article provides the list of emails your participants will receive during the course of your engagement. EngagementHQ sends two types of emails to your participants :
These emails are sent by EngagementHQ on participant registration and when required for moderation purposes.
- Activation email or
- Complete registration instructions email
On moderation ( sent when site moderation rules are breached )
- Changed screen name email
- Removed by moderator email
- Topic moderation email
These emails are sent as an acknowledgment to participants when they engage or participate in any of the enabled EngagementHQ tools. They can be controlled from within the tool's email settings.
Below is a summary of the emails sent from the different EngagementHQ Tools.
Surveys - Thank you email for completing the survey with a copy of the responses provided for registered users and unverified users.
Note: When the email question type is used and when the acknowledgment to user option is enabled in survey settings, notification will be sent to both registered and unverified users. This email is sent only if this feature is turned on in the email settings of the tool, else by default the participant will not receive any email.
Q&A - Thank you email for asking a question with a copy of the question asked and once the response is posted by the admin, they will receive an email with the question and answer.
Ideas - Thank you email for submitting an idea or comment with a copy of the idea or comment submitted and a note to mention that the contribution is subject to moderation*.
Forum - Thank you email for creating a new forum topic for discussion with a copy of the forum topic title created. If the participant has selected to be notified when a reply to a comment is posted, then they will receive a notification email when a reply is posted too.
Stories - Thank you email for submitting your story with a copy of the story submitted and a note to mention that the contribution is subject to moderation*.
Guestbook - Thank you email for signing the guestbook with a copy of the comment and a note to mention that the contribution is subject to moderation*.
Newsfeed - Thank you email for posting a comment to a news article along with a copy of the comment posted.
Places - Thank you email for the responses provided along with a copy of the responses provided.
Quick Poll - By default, email notifications are not sent for Quick poll tool when a submission is made.
