Project tags are words or phrases you can assign to projects for additional context. You can use project tags to:
Filter reports by tags
Filter the Project Showcase or Project Finder
The maximum tag length is 60 characters, and they can only contain letters, numbers, spaces, apostrophes (‘), dashes (-), underscores (_), and ampersands (&). Duplicate tags will not be accepted, but they are case-sensitive; both “budgets” and “Budgets” will be accepted.
Create a Tag
There are two ways to create project tags. The first is available for all admins:
On the project page, use the Project tags field to select or type a project tag.
Once you type a tag and press Enter, the tag is added to your project and the Project Tags list.
Select Save changes.
The second method is only available for Site Administrators:
Expand Projects in the main menu and select Project Tags.
Select Create a tag.
Enter your tag in the Tag name field and select OK.
Edit or Delete Tags
Site Administrators can also edit or delete project tags. In Projects > Project Tags, Site admins can:
View the complete list of project tags and use the search bar to Search by tag name.
Select the arrows in the columns to reorder by Tag name alphabetically, by the number of tags applied to Projects, and by the Date Created.
Select the number in the Projects column to see which projects a tag has been applied to.
Select the pen icon to edit the Tag name.
Select the bin icon to Delete a tag. Please note that this will permanently remove a tag from your site and all projects to which it was applied.
Too many project tags can be confusing and poor user experience. We recommend removing or updating tags that you no longer need.
