You can control your site access using the Site lock setting in Site Settings. It is automatically enabled as an extra layer of protection when your site is created.

When you launch your site, you must remove the Site Lock to make it accessible to the general public.

At any time, you can enable it again to block general access. When you lock your site, you'll generate a link that you, or anyone you send it to, can use to view your site. The site lock link will allow you to view the site without logging in. In a launched site, the link will lead to the homepage. You will be asked to log in if your site hasn't been launched.

  1. Go to the Site Settings and select the Privacy and Security tab.

2. On the Privacy and Security page, scroll down and disable the Lock Your Site toggle.

3. Save your settings. The site lock will now be removed.

To lock your site again, return to Site Settings > Privacy and Security and enable the Lock Your Site toggle.

Note: Every time a site lock is unlocked and locked again, the site lock code changes, and the previous code will no longer be valid.
