Use the Submissions Manager to manage files uploaded by respondents

One of the survey question types is a file upload, which allows your participants to upload files pertinent to the consultation. The Submissions Manager is the easiest and quickest way to manage files from respondents. The alternative is to download a detailed Survey Report and download files individually.

Administrators can view and manage the files directly from the Submissions Manager, including renaming, downloading, and publishing the files to a Document Library widget.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Go to Reporting > Submissions Manager in the main menu.

  2. Use the Select Project and Select Survey drop-down menus to select which survey responses you want to retrieve files from; the response list won’t populate until you have selected a survey. You can also use the All Time drop-down menu to narrow down to specific responses.

  3. Switch between the All, Reviewed, and Pending Review lists, or use the search box to look for a specific response or document.

  4. Your response list will show some details of the submission and the submitted document. When you select the document, you can rename it or open it in a new browser tab. You can also switch the Review Status between Pending and Reviewed, Publish it to a Document Library widget on your project, or Download it.

  5. Use the checkboxes to select multiple documents and complete these tasks in bulk.
