Internet web browsers and devices supported by EngagementHQ.

EngagementHQ is a web app with no application to install; you only require a supported and updated browser to run it. EngagementHQ supports the current and last prior versions of the following browsers on desktop and mobile devices:

  • Microsoft Edge

  • Chrome

  • Firefox

  • Safari

If you are running EngagementHQ on an outdated browser version, some elements may not work correctly, and we may be unable to help you troubleshoot issues.

We recommend using the admin-facing side of EngagementHQ on a desktop device. This is because, while the participant side is fully responsive, some elements on the admin-facing side may not work if managed through a tablet or mobile device.

We also recommend upgrading to the latest version of your browser for a better and safer experience on EngagementHQ and online. There are external websites where you can check what browser you use and find the latest updates. These links are external and are not affiliated with Granicus.

You should update your browser regularly because:

  • New browser versions patch existing security holes and reduce the risk of cyber security threats.

  • New browser releases also make accessibility improvements. Many sites, including EngagementHQ, won’t display correctly on older browsers because the browser version doesn’t meet web accessibility standards.

  • Browser updates can increase processing and rendering speeds and improve usability.

  • Newer browsers also give you more control over settings, including data privacy, cookies, and caching.
