Social media icons are displayed on project pages, tool tabs, and tool pages. These icons allow admins, participants, and site visitors to share your engagement content on Facebook, X, LinkedIn, or via email.
This is a site-wide setting, and they are enabled by default.
Go to Site Settings in the main menu and select the Project Settings tab.
Toggle off the Display social media sharing icons setting.
Save your settings.
Each project page will now include the default social media icons, and admins or participants can share project and tool pages on their social media accounts.
Please note the following:
As this is a site-wide setting, you can display social icons on all projects and tools or none. You cannot enable it for specific pages.
Social media icons are automatically unavailable on unlaunched sites and for protected projects.
Admins can enable the social sharing pop-up at the post-submission level for all tools, except for surveys and ideas, in Project Settings > Advanced > Enable Social Sharing. This setting controls the post-contribution pop-up only, not the social icons on project and tool pages.
