Admins can upload image and document files into various places in EngagementHQ, including:

  • Project and tool descriptions

  • Some tools, like Newsfeed articles, Survey sections, Q&A answers, etc.

  • Document widget

  • Photos widget

  • Videos widget

  • Appearance Editor

We have the following resources for file types and sizes:

There are some restrictions for uploading files on EngagementHQ; if your file is not uploading, please follow the troubleshooting tips below.

  • Check the file name to ensure there are no special characters or accents. If there are, rename the files on your computer to remove any disallowed characters.

  • Check the file size. In EngagementHQ, you can upload files up to 200 MB. Additionally, it’s best to keep files to around 500 KB with a maximum of 5 MB so participants can easily access and download them.

  • If a document is too large, please split it into smaller documents. You can try resizing large images or uploading a file type with a lower resolution, such as a JPG or JPEG.

  • An “Invalid” error message will be displayed if your upload is interrupted. Try renaming the file on your computer and uploading it again.

  • Check your internet connection. If your connection is too slow, you may struggle to upload large files. You can check your download and upload speeds using an internet speed test.

If you still have problems with uploading, please contact our support team via chat or by emailing support@engagementhq.com. It will help us troubleshoot if you send the URL of the page you’re working on and the file you’re trying to upload.
