Create Reports for Organizational Needs

EngagementHQ provides access to a range of reports for projects, tools, site statistics, and demographics. Many graphs and charts can be downloaded individually or within the complete report. We have made it so you can use individual statistics in any custom reports you need to create.

We’ve seen several great examples of councils using statistics gained from EngagementHQ in their reports, such as:

  • Extracting aware, informed, and engaged numbers and contextualizing them. For example, “We logged 100 individual site visits, and of those, 30 clicked through to [more information about the project] and 35 contributed to [the tool].”

  • Using survey analysis to extract contributor demographic groups and using icons and percentages to identify them. This can help your community understand who has contributed to the outcome.

  • Using text analysis to tag qualitative data and determine the key themes your contributors have responded to. You can use percentages to list these themes, but we also recommend summarizing what was said about them. If many people responded to a theme, but most felt negatively about it, then only saying “67% of respondents spoke about this” could be misleading.

  • Using the Places tool report to download a static map of pin submissions. You can use this as a base to create a graphic displaying the common feedback you received.

  • Using the Quick Poll tool report to download the Insights graph showing the percentage of respondents who answered each option.

  • Extracting contribution numbers, including online tools, hard-copy or email submissions, or interactions at pop-up events or meetings, and create an infographic displaying snapshot statistics

You may also like to include emphasis boxes to show readers how they can find more information or contact you to follow up or for more engagement opportunities.
