Activating the sign up banner on your project page is a great way to encourage new participants to register to participate on your site. By doing this you will be able to capture important registration information from your participants and allow them to get involved with tools that are set to registered participants only.
The sign up banner will show only if the participant is not a registered user on your site, prompting them to register. If a previously registered participant is signed in the banner will NOT show on the project page.
The following steps describe how to set up the Signup Banner widget on your EHQ page:
1. Select the Projects link from the top menu of EHQ and click on your specific project from the drop-down menu.
2. The Manage page is displayed. Click on the Widgets link.
A list of active and available widgets are displayed that can be added to your page.
3. Click the Signup Banner widget in the available widgets list. The Signup Banner is displayed in the Active widgets list. Select a banner and Click Save.
You have successfully added Signup Banner in widget.
You can Edit, Hide or Delete the Signup Banner widget using the options provided.
Note - The Sign up banner will be displayed in the project page or home page only once the site is launched and made public, however, you can preview it in an incognito browser window. Or, to check a new user experience, you will have to be logged out and your browser cache cleared.
