EngagementHQ doesn't currently support the use of videos hosted on Vimeo in its video gallery widget.

If you have a video hosted on Vimeo that you would like to use in your online engagement you have three options.

  • Download the video from Vimeo and host it on Youtube instead. You will then be able to use the Video Gallery widget to play your file.

  • On a project page, use a custom widget and use the HTML mode to paste in the vimeo embed script. You can also paste this script in the freestyle container on the homepage of your site. Below is an example of a typical Vimeo embed code.

<iframe src="https://player.vimeo.com/video/132995826?color=89c764&title=0&byline=0&portrait=0" width="640" height="360" frameborder="0" webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen></iframe>
<p><a href="https://vimeo.com/132995826">EngagementHQ Homepage Video</a> from <a href="https://vimeo.com/user41672797">Bang the Table</a> on <a href="https://vimeo.com">Vimeo</a>.</p>

  • You can also upload the source file directly to the Video Player widget and host it with EngagementHQ.
