You may analyze the visitor traffic to your site using Google Analytics, by entering your Google Analytics details in EngagementHQ.

Read this google support article to get your account details, then follow the steps steps below to add tracking to EngagementHQ.

Adding Google Analytics

Navigate to the Site Settings > Privacy and Security.

Enable the option Enable Google Analytics.

Enter your Google Analytics ID in Google Analytics Account field as shown below.

Add analytics tracking code in the admin controls section of site settings.

If Google Analytics is added correctly (We accept both the formats such as the UA format (UA-12345-1) and the Measurement ID (G-XXXXXXX)) in the site settings, the GA code gets added to individual project pages also.

Data will be tracked from the homepage and project pages.

Custom Code

You may also add Google Analytics tracking using our Custom Code feature.

This is an advanced method which allows you to inject a tracking snippet into the <head> tag of your site.

GA4 is the new measurement feature developed by Google Analytics and EngagementHQ supports the feature manually.

You can follow the manual install option for the new GA4 feature and then paste the codes shared into Site Settings > Custom Code > Adding code to <head> section.

We do not support directly adding the measurement ID into the Google Analytics account field in Privacy & Security section of Site settings. Once the code for GA4 is added the UA ID can be removed as GA 4 does not use UA tracking ID to stream the data.

Troubleshooting

You should monitor your Google Analytics account to ensure tracking is setup properly and that you page views and other analytics information is correctly beimg captured by Google Analytics.
