Planning for engagement plays a significant factor in determining the success of your next project and by using some simple critical thinking techniques, you can greatly improve your chances of hosting a successful online or offline consultation.

In this webinar Dan will explore some key considerations when planning an engagement project, and unpack a series of questions, which should be addressed before inviting stakeholders to participate.

This webinar will also look at steps to developing an engagement plan and draw on Dan’s more than 15 years experience working in community and stakeholder engagement.

About Dan:

Dan has worked in the areas of citizen and stakeholder engagement, community development, public participation and education for almost 20 years and is now one of Bang the Table’s key Engagement Managers.

He has held leadership roles with the South Australian Government, where he was the Manager of Engagement for the Department of Premier and Cabinet and has worked for Adelaide City Council as Senior Community Engagement Manager.

Dan’s work has seen him implement the country’s first centralised online state government engagement portal, YourSay SA as well as deliver on key award winning initiatives such as the Better Together campaign to transform the way South Australia integrates engagement as an integral part of its operations.
