The integration with Konveio allows you to embed interactive PDFs from Konveio directly into EngagementHQ projects. Participants can browse and comment on planning materials directly in the project. This integration features the ability to:
Capture comments anywhere on your documents, including threaded replies and comment reactions (thumbs up or down) for greater conversation and easy feedback.
Add content like videos, map, text, Google Street View, and images on the document to provide greater context.
Combine multiple PDFs into one with chapter navigation, intuitive controls, and full-screen viewing options. Konveio will automatically generate a table of contents.
Browse and analyze comments, search and filter through a list of comments, and download reports for custom analysis. Konveio Pro and Enterprise also integrate with the Participant Relationship Manager for a seamless reporting experience.
Provide a step-by-step guide through the document to emphasize important areas and ensure positive learning.
Configure the Integration
You can use it on multiple projects once you have added the Konveio integration to your EngagementHQ license. The integration is visual and does not share data between the two systems, unless you restrict participation to registered users and allow Konveio to save usernames as part of the comments it collects.
To use this integration, you must contact our support team via chat or by emailing support@engagementhq.com.
To set it up:
Upload your documents into Konveio.
Configure your settings in Konveio.
Provide the embed code to our support team; you’ll find the code in the Embed tab of your document. Our team will use the Guestbook tool to embed the document in your project.
Prepare the rest of your project and Publish it when you’re ready.
We repurpose the Guestbook tool to embed Konveio documents. This ensures that the document is displayed in your project’s tool tabs but also means you cannot use Konveio documents and a Guestbook on the same project.
When a participant selects the document, it will open on a standalone page, and they can leave their feedback.
Pre-requisites and Recommended Settings
To use this integration, you must have the following:
An EngagementHQ site
An account with Konveio with documents uploaded
EngagementHQ project pages that are not using the Guestbook tool
We also have the following set of recommended settings:
EngagementHQ: The Guestbook tool must be published or archived once the document is embedded. Please note that the project can be Public, Panelled, or Protected.
Konveio: In Settings > Comments, check the box for Allow users to submit comments without logging in for ALL documents on this site. Leave the box for Anonymous commenters must leave their contact information unchecked.
With these settings in place, you can choose whether only registered participants can comment on your Konveio document or whether they must leave an (unverified) username and email.
If using unverified participation, you can provide the embed code as is. If you require registration, you must add id="Konveio" into your embed code after the opening iframe tag. For example,
<iframe id="konveio" width="100%" height="1000" src="https://NAME.konveio.com/node/7?iframe=true" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="true" class="doccomment-iframe"></iframe>
Once we embed the code, participants will be prompted to log in before participating.
