It is time to move on and upgrade. We will end EngagementHQ technical support for IE9 and 10 on 31 May 2016.

Microsoft announced earlier this year it ended support for the outdated Internet Explorer versions 9 and 10. We have been holding on to it a bit longer, but our data shows that EHQ visits from IE10 or older has dropped below significant numbers (less than 1%). Yet it still contributes to a big chunk of development and maintenance time.

Old Internet Explorers, in particular IE9, have a bad reputation among software developers. All new features or upgrades to existing features need double and triple checking for compatibility with IE9 and 10 and that is a lot of valuable time lost. Time better spent moving EHQ forward.

If you are still on IE9 or IE10, we recommend you upgrade to IE11 as soon as possible or move to the vastly superior Firefox or Google Chrome.
